A Letter from Sandy - February 2012

Welcome to our web site.
If you want to find out more about us and our company, learn about home staging or our painting services, or find some guidance on how to care for your deck, you'll find answers here.
KEEPING A HOME IN GOOD CONDITION IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN EVER.
Whether you plan to stay in your home or plan to sell, regular maintenance, such as pressure-washing, deck care and painting will help to protect your investment and greatly increase your enjoyment of living there. This is the perfect time to start planning this year's projects.
IF YOU'RE PLANNING TO SELL, OR YOUR HOUSE HAS BEEN ON THE MARKET FOR A WHILE WITHOUT RESULTS, I HAVE SOME SUGGESTIONS:
-
Selling is a high stakes competition. Have a staging consultation and learn how to prepare your house to look its best so you can compete effectively.
- Have a home inspection and follow through on the recommendations.
- Read the back issues of "Smart Selling", the weekly column I wrote with REALTOR Mary Stephens for the Real Estate section of the Hendersonville Times-News. All the columns are archived here.
- Plan to attend, "How To Be A Smart Home Seller". The popular course that Mary and I created is returning to Isothermal Community College in March. You'll learn how to prepare, price and market your house for maximum equity protection - in any economy. You'll also learn about common selling mistakes, and how to avoid them. Registration is free.
ALWAYS REMEMBER THE IMPORTANCE OF COLOR.
If you're planning to redecorate, the right paint colors will make the difference between an ordinary result and a spectacular one. If you're painting to sell, color will create warmth and appeal, and help create attractive photos, your most important marketing tool.
"PAINT COLOR CONFIDENCE"
Many people dread having to choose paint colors because past color decisions haven't turned out as well as they hoped. Maybe it's happened to you. Color decisions can be lots of fun, if you have some basic knowledge to guide you.
To learn the fundamentals of color and paint, come to my new course, "Paint Color Confidence", to be presented at Isothermal Community College in Columbus on Wednesday evenings in April. Registration is free.
PLANNING A PROJECT?
If you're planning a project, call me. We'll talk about how we can help you and schedule a free estimate. If you're looking for ideas and inspiration, you can schedule a staging, color or redesign consultation to help you get started.
If you choose us to do your painting project, the consultation is a free part of our services.
Thank you for visiting today, and please come back often.
