If your house is staged, the buyers who come to see it will be impressed. They'll also be able to imagine how they could live there and begin to form the emotional attachment that leads to a sale.
"Selling your house in a tough market is really difficult: you have to let go of some of the things you love about your home and always keep in mind that you're trying to sell it to someone else, NOT yourself.
That's the first step, but what do you do next? We knew that we had a nice house in a popular place, but we also knew that we had lots of competition, and we wanted to make our house easy to buy.
We have used Sterling Property Services to help maintain our house: power-washing, painting and the like, and Roger always does a great job - he is the most thorough painter we've ever seen, and the results show it. When we decided to put the house on the market, we realized the interior needed repainting and the colors updated, and called him again. That's where Sandy's help came in: she assessed all the rooms, found coordinated colors that emphasized the best features of the house, and suggested a number of simple things we could do to make an empty house feel like a place you'd want to live.

"We recently had the pleasure of working with Sandy LeRoy of Sterling Property Services, Hendersonville, NC in the initial assessment of our home prior to our listing it for sale.
